What information this site collects, and how it’s used.

This page covers what happens to your information when you use this site. It’s written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

What I collect

The only personal information collected here is what you choose to submit through one of the site’s forms:

This information is stored in the site’s database and reviewed by me before anything is published. Feedback submitted as an endorsement, and stories submitted to the Lifelong Arcade, may be published on this site; anonymously if you asked for that, otherwise under the name you gave.

How it’s used

Submitting a form sends me an email notification so I can review it. I don’t use your email address for anything other than replying to you if needed, or sending mailing list updates if you signed up for those. I don’t sell or share your information with advertisers.

Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The forms on this site are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form submission is coming from a real person rather than a bot, without showing you a puzzle to solve. To do this, Turnstile processes some technical information about your visit (like your IP address and browser details). See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details on what it collects and how.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, used to keep your session secure while you fill out a form (so submissions can’t be forged) and to keep admins logged in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. Page text uses Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts, which may see your IP address when your browser loads them, the same as loading any font from an external site.

Removing your information

If you’d like something you submitted removed or corrected, use the Feedback form to let me know which submission and I’ll take care of it.

This site is not directed at adults, and I do not knowingly collect information from non-adults.
